Analyst, Reporting & Data Analytics

We are currently seeking an Analyst, Reporting and Data Analytics to join our Dealer support team. The Analyst, Reporting & Data Analytics, is responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics across the AutoIQ Dealership Group. This role supports the executive team and dealership locations by providing actionable insights that drive business decisions and foster continuous process improvement. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for leveraging data to optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Data Management:
- Build and maintain operational and performance reporting tools.
- Develop dashboards and KPI tracking systems for real-time performance insights.
- Harmonize reporting suites across dealerships to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Create and present AutoIQ KPI slide decks and performance summaries.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze dealership performance reports to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Generate actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Perform ad hoc data analysis to address specific business questions.
Process Improvement:
- Evaluate and streamline existing reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with dealership teams to understand data needs and improve data accessibility.
- Identify opportunities for standardizing and automating repetitive tasks.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with dealership managers and other stakeholders to align reporting tools with operational needs.
- Train and support team members in using reporting and analytics tools.
- Maintain effective communication channels to share insights and recommendations.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, DMS platforms).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or a similar role.
- Experience in the retail automotive industry is an asset but not required.
- Knowledge of database structures and querying languages (e.g., SQL) is an advantage.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science) is an asset

- Must be able to travel to various dealership locations as needed.
