Fleet Manager

We are currently seeking a Fleet Manager to join our leadership team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

This role is responsible for the overall sales and relationship management of the dealerships’ commercial accounts. This Management role is responsible for ongoing planning and collaboration with other department leaders; executing on objectives, goals and growth strategies; improving efficiencies; driving sales and championing the customer experience.

The Fleet Manager (also known as a Commercial Accounts Manager) contacts local commercial accounts to build sales and service relationships between the dealership and the customer. They conduct consultative interviews with customers to identify needs, vehicle usage requirements and preferences and to respond to customer concerns and takes the lead in keeping lines of communication open between the Commercial, F&I and service departments in the dealership.

Candidates must possess: 

  • Unrestricted OMVIC license & dealership approval 
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Post-Secondary Education Preferred 
  • Previous commercial account management experience and success with a franchised automotive dealer an asset 
  • Previous retail automotive sales success required
