Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator 

Primary Location: Oakville (travel required) 

Compensation Range: $55,00 - $70,000 annually

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our dealer support team. 

Role Summary: 

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the HR Coordinator will be responsible for various administrative functions related to full-cycle HR. The HR Coordinator plays an important role supporting our people, our business and our workplace culture through ongoing collaboration with our Managers and VP of HR to support the flawless execution of our established HR policies and practices. As a member of AutoIQ’s shared services team, this role acts as an internal administrator and HR resource for our leaders and ensures that their services provided are responsive to the needs of both the organization and its employees. 

Key Accountabilities & Metrics:

·      Maintain employee files and records electronically using the company’s Human Resources Information System (HR4)

·      Oversee the recruitment and hiring process facilitated by our HR Partner, HR4 Recruitment Services; Implement creative ways to attract top talent; Build and sustain relationships with educational institutions; attend job fairs and career events 

·       Ensures timely and thorough completion of all onboarding and offboarding plans, form approvals, time off requests 

·       Assists VP of HR with achievement management documents, investigations, and documentation 

·       Closely monitors metrics that influence employee engagement; produce reports on various aspects of human capital data 

·       Ensure compliance with established HR processes and procedures 

·       Assist HR & Managers with attendance and leaves management, including EI, LTD, WSIB and RTW plans

·       Oversees exit processes, conducts exit interviews and report on HR analytics

·       Prepare standardized documents, letters, forms, job descriptions as needed

·       Responsible for Health & Safety compliance and oversight 

·       Assist with benefits/payroll reviews and other HR projects and initiatives as assigned


Skills Profile:

  • Process-driven with impeccable organization and prioritization abilities
  • Thorough understanding of relevant employment/labour laws (ESA; OHSA)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical aptitude (MS Office and HRIS)
  • Proven understanding of general HR policies and procedures
  • Responsive, efficient and detail oriented with a desire for accountability
  • Operates with the highest level of integrity
  • Exceptional initiative, high energy, proven resiliency and positive attitude
  • Impeccable follow-through and commitment to building and cultivating relationships

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 2+ years of Human Resources Administrator/Coordinator experience 
  • Payroll certification; Experience working in retail automotive industry; CHRP designation or working toward are considered assets, but not required
  • Willingness to travel to dealership locations as needed is required
