Job Title: Financial Services Performance Director, AutoIQ
Compensation Range: $175,000 - $225,000
Primary Work Location: Oakville (travel required)

Position Summary:
Reports to: President or his designate
The Financial Services Performance Director will be responsible for leading the performance of approximately 8 AutoIQ dealership financial services departments. The role operates as part of AutoIQ’s shared services team who are a support mechanism to in-store management and accountable for group-wide F&I performance. This includes customer experience, revenue generation, compliance, and product penetration. Training & education, process development and implementation to execution, compliance & departmental accountability will be part of the Performance Director’s scope. The Director will also be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with dealership personnel while maximizing growth and revenue opportunities within our F&I departments. Our F&I mandate is to serve our clients with expert advice and protection opportunities while delivering an exceptional service experience.
Role Objectives:
- Develop community & sharing amongst AutoIQ Financial Services Managers
- Increase penetrations of targeted products in Financial Services offices
- Seeks new revenue streams/products (IE: Post sale product presentation)
- Enhance revenue and gross profit in Financial Services offices
- Enhance customer experience with Financial Services
- Recruit high performing Financial Services Managers
- Establish compliance standards and processes for audit
- Establish standard/best practices process for group dealerships to follow
- Research, test and implement modern and alternative F&I processes (single point of contact, virtual F&I, menu-based F&I)
- Enhance “home court” product utilization & awareness – Tricor product penetration, In-House Lease Utilization, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training & Education: Trains new & existing FSMs & other dealership/group staff on Financial Services process, Tricor Product Knowledge, sales presentation & compliance in 1-to-1 and large group format, both in-person and virtually
- FSM group onboarding: initial training and group welcome
- Resource: Acts as a product knowledge subject matter expert for our FSM and dealership teams
- Vendor & Lender Relationships: Manage vendor partner relationships with F&I providers as well as relationships with lending institutions
- Reporting: Establish and maintain reporting standard, generating necessary reports/composites to drive accountability and to help effectively train & coach FSMs on performance
- Menu & bundle development: Research and implement high performing menu-based presentations with a standard
- POS development – position will be tasked with developing point of sale aids
- Compliance: Responsible for overall Financial services compliance with OEM, regulatory, lender and AutoIQ code of conduct. Regular audits to be conducted at each group location to ensure adherence to these policies.
- FSM Compensation planning: Development of modern, motivational FSM compensation plans
- Backfill FSM vacancies on occasion as necessary
- Review transactions as necessary and liase with Non-Prime division and lenders if necessary to aid in obtaining finance approval
- Analyze dealership performance and develop training and action plans to address opportunities for growth
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of proven financial services management success within the retail automotive industry
· Valid unrestricted OMVIC license
· Advanced technical/computer skills and proficiency in Dealer Management Systems
